Orangeries and Sun Rooms

Orangeries of today have developed considerably since their beginnings and are one of the most beautiful and exciting additions to any home. Orangeries are elegant, light and airy home extensions, with large “lantern” roofs and tall windows that are useable all year round. They bring unique and luxurious style to any home.

All Orangeries are built with a perimeter flat roof and central structurally suspended Glass Lantern. The size of the Lantern is variable and is down to individual taste-smaller the Lantern bigger the internal Soffit.

Orangeries Example

Conservatories differ from our Orangeries in that the walls of an Orangery are partly constructed from stone or brick  rather than pure glass. Orangeries have the added benefit of being more thermally dynamic than a conservatory, as there is generally more brickwork or stonework to the walls of the structure and a double glazed lantern roof forms part of the roof section.

Whatever the style or choice of materials, our Orangeries are a valuable addition to any home. Enjoy the latest technology and cutting edge ideas, with sharp lined portal steel systems and large glazed areas, with single or double roof lanterns, being some of our many superb innovative designs for the ultimate modern look.
